Resurrection Day – The Great Mystery of Godliness

Right in the middle of his first letter to Timothy, the apostle Paul makes a curious and profound statement: “Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of godliness” (1 Timothy 3:16). What did Paul mean by a “mystery”? What is this “godliness” and to what or whom does it refer? How can we apply this “mystery of godliness” to our lives in the 21st century? We explore this mysterious statement in light of the third greatest day in all creation, the Resurrection Day of Jesus Christ.
